IRIS ACADEMY OF MEDIA – TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Please read and make note of these Terms and Conditions prior to registering and signing up for a course at Iris Academy of Media. In case of any dispute, the Participant can approach the Management of Iris Academy of Media to amicably resolve the same. The decision of the Management of Iris Academy of Media will be final and binding on the Participant(s).
CODE OF CONDUCT:
Participants will ensure that they are cordial and respectful of all people at the premises, irrespective of gender, background, age, religion and/or orientation.
Each Participant will ensure that they handle all the equipment, books, computer systems and all other infrastructure made available to them by Iris Academy of Media with utmost care. Incase of any damage, the Participant(s) will be liable to service and/or replace the damaged property.
Each Participant is responsible and accountable for the authenticity of all information furnished by them on the Registration Form. In case of any information found to be false, Iris Academy of Media can take legal action against the Participant(s).
WORKSHOP AND COURSE REGISTRATION:
A Registration Fee equivalent to half the course fee will be payable while registration by the Participants. The Participant will have to pay the remaining/balance amount before the commencement of the course.
COURSE CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT:
Incase of Course Cancellation or Postponement by Iris Academy of Media, the Participants will be given a choice to either get a full refund on the fee paid or adjust the fee paid against any future course.
Participants should convey their decision of fee refund or adjustment by e-mail or phone (call) or in person, within the week (7 days) of announcement, else will not be eligible for a refund and will forfeit the amount paid.
For all Participant-initiated cancellations made a fortnight (14 days) or more, prior to the start date of the course, the fee paid will be refunded in full or can be adjusted for any future course.
For all Participant-initiated cancellations made between 13 days to 7 days prior to the start date of the course, the fee paid will not be refunds but can only be adjusted for any future course.
For all Participant-initiated cancellations made less than 7 days from the start date of the course, will forfeit the fee paid.
COURSE MODULE AND DELIVERY:
A Subject Matter Expert (also the Mentor) has developed the course module and delivery style. Each Participant has to attended all sessions and complete all practice exercises in order to complete the workshop and course, failing which the Management of Iris Academy of Media will not be accountable.
In case of absenteeism, compensation sessions can be requested for by the Participant and maybe arranged for, only at the sole discretion of the Mentor and the Management of Iris Academy of Media.
The venue and the timing of the course maybe changed on the advise of the Mentors and/or Management of Iris Academy of Media. The same will be intimated to each Participant at least 24 hours before the commencement of the session by e-mail or phone or WhatsApp message or sms or word of mouth by the Mentors or Representatives of Iris Academy of Media.
The Management of Iris Academy of Media will not be held responsible if the Participant(s)’ registered contact number is unreachable and/or out of service.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS:
The copyrights of all the work/output generated by the Participants and Mentors during the tenure of the course will rest completely with Iris Academy of Media.
The Participant and Mentors must inform the Management of Iris Academy of Media before publishing and/or showcasing the same on any platform.
Videos and Photographs of all workshops and courses in progress, behind-the-scenes making with the Participants maybe used by Iris Academy of Media in any/all of it’s promotional material.
The Management of Iris Academy of Media without any prior notice can make any amendments/changes and/or additions to these Terms and Conditions.
